A reality check of how time flies: I haven't been blogging for a month, when I thought it was just a few days... OMG.
Anyway, I'm back from overseas, and becoming richer in fats too. June Hols was pretty okay, cuz I went for a loooooong vacation, and I truly enjoyed myself! :D Reality struck me when I came back on 21st June on the Cab that I realized I haven't studied for MYE and I'm going to be a goner D: LOL, I was panicking like mad seriously HAHA.
I think sometimes when there's this adrenaline rush, it will propel you to study, but then it will die down after like a few hours. BUT SOMETIMES WHEN YOU HAVE THIS SUPER ADRENALINE RUSH, OMG YOU WILL STUDY LIKE MAD LOL. (like me :X)
Anyway, I'm glad that MYE is finally over, with a freaking bad end. (OMG Physics was #$%^*, I still can't believe I thought circumference was diameter!!! :O)
Anyway, I came to know of 2 most controversial horror movies lately - namely A Serbian Film and Human Centipede 2.
I'm sure you guys have heard of these 2 movies, especially the latter. The reason why Human Centipede 2 came out was because Human Centipede 1 was a success. (Get back to this later)
Alright an intro,
- Viewer Discretion is Advised, you are warned. I felt nausea after hearing this, so if you have a weak stomach, just skip this part ;) -
For Human Centipede 1, it was basically a story about a surgeon (a psycho one) who has retired from his job of separating siamese twins. He felt that he should do the opposite after retirement - connecting humans together.
In the movie, he successfully connected 3 human beings together, sharing one digestive system - a Human Centipede. You may ask, how the hell did he do that? Alright, here it is. The second person would be connected to the first person's anus (like stitched to his anus or sth) while the third person would be connected to the second person's anus.
Yes so it actually means that when the first person eats something, he will literally shit into the second person's mouth and so on.
Yes, I feel you, I heard this movie like a last year (it came out last year) and I felt like vomitting. When I watched Human Centipede 1's trailer, I was literally breaking out in cold sweat. Trust me, curiosity kills the cat, don't go watch the movie! (I didn't)
Now, Tom Six was the director of this film, and he actually spent around 2 million on the film. He earned not so much from the Box Office so he decided to take the risk and publish it on DVDs. It was kinda a success (well, earned more than the box office).
So this led him into thinking "Hmm, why are there so many people buying the DVDs and bringing it home to watch it?" And this gave him inspiration to create Human Centipede 2 which was about a man who watched Human Centipede 1 and got sexually aroused by the scenes inside and decided to create his new version of Human Centipede with 12 humans.
Yes, it's gross to the max. Human Centipede 2 was released lately. And as such, the British Board of Film Classifications (BBFC) has banned Human Centipede 2 in UK. In the entire history, BBFC only banned 12 movies, Human Centipede 2 was the 13th.
Now, this made many people shocked and curious why would BBFC ban movies when it's so liberal and stuff like that. (I heard there are PORN channels on the TV :O) So people went to illegally download Human Centipede 2 and now, it has became the most downloaded movie. It means that people of all ages (even kids like 13) are watching this humanely-wrong movie, which is like OMG.
Can you imagine that Tom Six is actually thinking of creating a third Human Centipede movie? (Which he was considering and I think is in the making) As there are more sequels, the level of gory and disguisting-ness has to go up to increase the level of satisfaction.
Other movies would use this as a benchmark and in order to be successful (in horror films industry), there would have to be more gory/or any other sorts right. Can you imagine 2o years down the road, Human Centipede 2 would seem like something Primary School kids would watch and laugh about? Would humans be sick-minded? The authorities have no power too in controlling humans to not watch this kind of movies because downloads are unstoppable. It's a scary thought.
Now, I will introduce another movie (as in not ask you to watch it) - A Serbian Film
Intro to movie: It was something about all the disguisting sexual rapes like rapping a newborn baby, necrophilia acts, and a man was asked to raped 2 people with their face covered, after he raped them their faces was revealed and it turned out to be the man's wife and child.
Yes, this seems much worst than Human Centipede 2 (or equally worst). But guess what? BBFC did not ban this movie! This is because, in this movie, the victims were allowed to escape, which is to them, a line drawn between the good and evil. Yes, like WTF, it seems like you can create any horror movies as long as in the end, the victims escape. Looks like Tom Six needs to get smarter:/
