Ultimately, it may just be a wastage of brain capacity.
Written on: Monday, September 12, 2011 Time: 5:40 AM
This entire week of mugging has took/is taking its toll on me, especially today's Econs Test, which made me feel really depressed.
Scoring for a test is really based on luck sometimes, especially if the test is of a higher order and is really information-intensive. If you are a non-mugger, you will hope that the things you mug within that short period of time will come out for the test. Afterall, it's impossible for an exam to test on all the concepts/stuffs mentioned in your notes. For muggers, after memorising almost everything possible, the test turns out to be something unexpected, you would really feel depressed that the stuffs you spent so long revising for didn't come out at all. The kind of feeling, I'm sure some people out there will understand. And this feeling might even be amplified if you answered the question incorrectly-.- It's like all my effort went down the drain...
Can you imagine if 2 information-intensive exams fall on consecutive, worst, the same day? It will be like OMG, your brain is literally dying. To add on, are these knowledge really applicable in future? Will there be a time where we will use Maclaurin's Series to solve a real-life situation? Or will there be a time for us to apply the concept of Superposition?
Well, we won't really know will we since the future is uncertain. (Imperfect Information [Economics Concept]) But one thing is for sure, mugging everything in our syllabus is definitely a wastage of brain capacity because for sure, we won't apply ALL the concepts learnt in future. I mean look at the 'A' level Syllabus itself! =.=
But we don't have a choice do we. We chose (or rather under current circumstances) to be under the Singapore Education. So, all we have to do is do what we should, for it would be for our own good.
Sometimes, a little rant here and there can help to sooth my really frustrated feelings, so haha you can ignore this.

Introduction to myself
Just Read It
Read me to know me well.
In life, you can't just expect things to happen.
Expect yourself to make it happen.
